FROM THE COMMANDER

I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped during the Lenten Fish Frys. Without
all of you we would not be able to pull off this event every year. This year was our best
year that we ever had. Hopefully that trend continues. I would also like to thank our
volunteers who helped with the post spring cleanup. Please consider helping in the
future because many hands make light work.

Our post was only 1 of 2 in District 8 to achieve 100% membership in 2022. Thank you
for supporting our post by getting your dues paid on time.

We have a couple of events that we would like to make sure they get on your calendar.
Our post Cruise-in (CAR SHOWS) changed from monthly to weekly. They will be every
Thursday from May 4 th through September 28 th from 5:00-7:30. We will offer our normal
menu that you have come to love but if you would like something off our full menu that
will be available as well. We are planning the first Thurs of the month to be a themed
event. June 1 st will be GM, July 6 th will be Ford and August 3 rd will be Chrysler/Dodge.
Also, don’t forget to put in your calendar our posts 100th Anniversary celebration on
August 6th from 12:00-8:00, l will give more details as we get closer to the date.

Finally, I want to congratulate all of the newly elected officers for the 2023/2024 year. I
