FROM THE COMMANDER
Our Lent Fish Fry’s are going well this year. I can’t believe that our last one is on April
7 th ! We have received a lot of comments of how great everything tastes, so if you
haven’t come out you don’t want to miss our last one for the year. We serve dinner from
5:00 to 7:30 on Friday April 7 th .
Our Euchre Tournaments are also coming to a close at the end of the month. Dates are
April 2nd, 16th and the 30th.
We don’t normally post events that are happening in the back hall but this one is
special. Warriors Journey Home is doing a fundraiser. They are doing a Kentucky Derby
party. So this is sort of like a Night at the Races event and from what I understand it will
culminate with the actual Kentucky Derby. The tickets are $25.00 a person. It will be a
catered event from Mission BBQ and will have plenty of raffles. This is a great
organization for Post 9/11 veterans!
Also, this is our election month so if any Regular Member (Veteran that served overseas
on foreign soil/water/air space would like to be nominated for a position as an officer
you need to attend this month’s meeting on the 27th at 7:00.

Auxiliary Corner
Hello! Yay we made it to spring, although it’s still chilly and wet out, warmer weather is
approaching.
We have done very well with our Bake sale during the fish frys, we still have 1 more fish
fry which will be held on good Friday. Please support our Auxiliary and drop off some
baked goods. The hours are from 5:00pm until 7:30 pm.
Our last years acme cashback was $65.05. Thanks to everyone who turned in receipts.
May 6th the post and Auxiliary are helping with a fundraiser for Warriors Journey Home
by doing a Kentucky Derby party. Please stop in at the post for tickets.
Our next meeting will be held on Monday April 10th at 6:00pm. This meeting is very
important as we will be having our yearly elections. See you then!
