From the Commander
I hope everyone is staying warm and l hope we are almost done with all of the snow for this winter! I’m looking forward to spring! We are looking for some more people to join us for our Euchre tournaments on Sundays, we play every other week at 2:00. Our next Sunday we play will be on February 6th. Hope to see some more people!
We will be starting our Lent Fish Fry’s starting March 4th from 5:00 to 7:30! We can always use more volunteers. There is something that anyone can help in many ways, even if it’s only for a couple of hours. We have a sign-up sheet in the club for you to let us know when you are available to help.
I would also like to remind everyone to renew their dues. Dues are due January 1, 2022! Remember the bartenders will be asking to see your current dues card, don’t get upset if they ask more than once.

BRRRRRRRR, can you believe the cold weather and all of the snow? We have been pretty spoiled up until the past few weeks. It’s definitely been hot cocoa, pajama weather at our house. Hope you’ll are staying warm.
Our fish fry’s are starting Friday March 4th 2022 and will run every Friday through April 15th. The hours are from 5:00pm-7:30pm. We do need volunteers to help in many areas so if you can please help, this is our biggest fundraiser we do and we do have the best fish around. Auxiliary will be doing the bake sale and we do need baked goods so get your baking ready, or if you are like me, I buy something and pretend I made it. Well, that’s a fib, I admit I am not a baker. Please contact me with any questions or concerns. Remember, many hands make light work.
We are also looking for more fundraiser ideas, so please share any suggestions. Warmer weather is coming, and I’m so excited for it. We are having upcoming car shows, maybe cornhole tournaments. I’d love to have a Laua this summer, or maybe a 50th sock hop party. In order to do these things, we will need your help.
