Newsletter January 2022

From the Commander

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday this past December! Winter hasn’t hit us hard yet but it’s coming! It has been one crazy year!

With all of the new cases of the new Covid l would like to remind all of us to check on our family and friends who will not be going out of their homes to check on them to make sure they don’t need anything and that all is well! People who have health issues and the elderly will not be able to do the weekly needed necessary thing’s that they need to do so just remember they will need help!

Some upcoming events are our Friday fish fry’s for Easter! We can always use more volunteers for this event! In the month of May, we will be having a blessing of our parking lot which will be on May 7th from 12:00-4:00 with a $10.00 entrance fee and all proceeds from this car show will be going to our parking lot fund. Trophies will be awarded! Food items and drinks will be available. I know this is in the far future I want to make sure you put this on your calendar!

Also, the month of May is our Memorial Day activities! I will talk about this more each month because with all of the new cases of people getting the new Covid there might be restrictions that may take place that we don’t know yet so as l find out l will let everyone know!

I would also like to remind everyone to renew their dues. Dues are due January 1, 2022! Remember the bartenders will be asking to see your current dues card, don’t get upset if they ask more than once.

Be Safe, thank you for your support and hope to see you around the Post!

Happy new year! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We have been very lucky weather wise so far.

We have our upcoming fish fry’s for Easter and need volunteers to help out even if you can donate some baked goods for the bake sale.

With Covid on the rise please be careful and Mindful of others.  Reach out and see if we can help anyone in need.  Thank goodness for porch drop off!

Hoping you are all well and Happy New Year. Let’s pray 2022 will be better all around.

Our next meeting will be held on Monday January 17th at 6pm.

Always remember to thank a veteran today.
