I want to thank all of our members who helped out this past summer for our Car shows. It was a lot of work for the few people that we had and hopefully we will get more people involved next year. We will start talking at our meetings soon about next year ‘s fundraising so we can continue raising money for our parking lot fund. I would like to have our new parking lot completed before we have our 100th anniversary in August 2023. If anyone has any ideas about fundraising, please let one of our officers know about your ideas.
We will be having our annual Veterans Day ceremony on front Street at 11 o’clock. We will be having a luncheon at our post around Noon, side dishes would be appreciated. There is a sign-up sheet for you to put what you were bringing and the side dishes need to be brought to the club by 12:00.
The Post will be supplying the ham and a cake via our Auxiliary. November 19 will be a Paint N’ Sip at the club starting at 6:00 PM cost is $35 per person. Our Thanksgiving hours will be from 12 o’clock noon to 8:00 PM food will be served from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and side dishes are appreciated to share. Thanks again to all the volunteers who make everything happen at our post!
Reminder that our Canteen and Post meetings will be held the 3rd Thursday this month due to the holiday. So they will be on November 18th starting at 6:00 pm.

From the Auxiliary
Greetings!!! We made it through October. Can you believe it? And no snow yet! Wow.
We had our first Trick or Treat at the post on Sunday October 31st and I cannot believe the amount of candy that was donated I want to thank everybody who helped and donated candy we actually had more candy to pass out then hands. We only had a handful of kids but if we do it next year hopefully, we can get more children to participate.
Veterans Day is fast approaching and Auxiliary is making a Ham and are getting a cake. We will be serving lunch at 12pm on Thursday November 11th 2021. There is a sign-up sheet at the post for side dishes to share. Please try to bring something in and drop off at the post now later than 12pm. If you cannot please let me know and we can make arrangements. I remember all the work some of our older Auxiliary members used to do that can’t help us anymore. Lets make a difference.
Our 2nd Paint n Sip night is being held Friday November 19th 2021 at 6pm. Seats are filling up fast. There is a sign-up sheet at the post. The cost is $35 and it includes a cheese plate and 1 drink.
