Newsletter — September 2019

August 22nd, we had a Rubber Ducks game fundraiser at Canal Park. Our Post received a portion of the ticket sales, which this year we are putting towards our parking lot fund. Our Post had seats that were right behind home plate and we had a great time. We will work with the Rubber Ducks again next year on a couple games and I hope you will join us for them.

Thanks to everyone who donated money and/or supplies to our school supplies drive. The Post and Auxiliary are sponsoring two schools, Preston and Woodridge Elementary Schools.

If all the wood doesn’t sell, we will look at future dates. This money will also be going towards our parking lot fund. If you can’t make it this day, we will be having other events to help raise money for the Post, check the club’s calendar for future dates.

Saturday, September the 14th is the Summer Cookout for our Post from 4:00p to 6:00p and the menu will be chicken, lobster macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob and a dessert. We need support for this event and the money made from this is also going to go towards our parking lot fund. Cost is $10 a person.
